3United’s 2014-2015 regular season ended on May 23rd on a positive note, left with only the Plate Cup final against the Vikings to play.

On another early May morning, 3United faced off against Voodoo in Songjiang.

It was a game or sheer dominance for 3United. From the get go 3United wanted the ball more and dominated possession. There were times of brilliance where it was strings of 5 minutes of 1 touch passing up and down the field but also times of rush and go. Unfortunately, the scoreboard did not completely reflect the game play as the game finished 0-2 to 3United but with both goals being Voodoo own goals. The first goal came near the end of the first half from a cross from Oraz Arslanow to Alvaro Roca, who headed it across goal straight into an oncoming defender, who then ran it into goal. The second goal came late in the second half from another play from the left side. Gordy O’neil crossed between the penalty spot and the keeper box to Alvaro Roca waiting to attack on goal but was intercepted by a Voodoo defender who proceeded to blast the ball straight back into the back of his own net. Although 3United didn’t score one directly off one of our feet, the goals were certainly deserved and was a great way to end the season. The game finished 0-2 to 3United. Man of the match honors went to Derek Yesionowski.
