This week Shanghai ReUnited had a mission, to get in the field and defend the title of the Monday league. Tirachinas proved to be a great opponent and pressured well. First half was a bit of a stalemate where we had difficulties to find the net, but knew how to protect our own goal.

After the first half with no goals on either side, we came out a lot stronger in second half. We changed the style and attacked more using our great forward power. Tirachinas kept being dangerous, especially when they hit the post of our goal. However we missed a couple of good chances too, including a shot on the post by Romain. After some failed attempts Oraz scored a spectacular header goal with 2 min left to play. We successfully managed to run down the clock and seal our second title in this league.

We want to congratulate Tirachinas for playing a great season and giving us a really tough challenge. Also we want to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this remarkable success happen. We cannot wait to continue our mission in the next season!
